Calling things, people, or ideologies "Nazi" has basically turned into a meme (see pic), a joke, an argumentum ad Hitlerum that doesn't work in public discourse anymore. The left calls the right Nazis for, say, questioning loose immigration policies. The right calls the left Nazis because of the word "socialist" in "national socialism". I want no part of that crapfest - reasons should be obvious.
Before I get to the main point: I reject the thesis that the mainstream Western view of WWII is entirely fake or made up. I'm not talking about exaggerating death tolls or extreme takes like "colored smoke from the crematoria". Even if only a quarter of what we know about Nazi crimes, German war atrocities, and concentration camps is true — it still doesn't change anything. Even if you only take David Irving's Hitler's War at face value, the scale of what happened is still horrifying. Personally, I believe what my grandparents and great-grandparents told me about the war. According to Luke Smith, were they just brainwashed by “Judeo-American” propaganda? Should someone just erase their memories like in Men in Black? That's complete nonsense.
However, I do see something in Luke's content that I'd call
Why “neo”? Because actual Nazis didn't downplay what they did.
Real Nazis had the guts to own it. They admitted to the killings, the genocidal goals — Slavs, Jews, Roma, etc. And the ones who stuck to their ideology after the war? They despised the postwar neo-Nazis. They didn't pretend to be victims of conspiracies, they didn't act like innocent lambs, they didn't whine about their “peaceful, democratic” intentions.

Now about the snowflake part — today's neo-Nazis are ashamed of their views. Real Nazis fought communists in the streets, risked their careers, even their lives. They signed their names, stood by their ideology, went to prison if they had to.
After the invasion, the most popular and democratically-elected political party was banned, even though the new American-controlled government was purported to be “democratic.” Germans were imprisoned en masse in camps, millions died, innumerable women were raped, millions more were ethnically cleansed out of neighboring countries. Americans went around making films with fake evidence saying that Germans made shrunken heads of people or made lampshades of human skin or soap from human fat, and a lot more atrocity propaganda that even now they admit is false. Nonetheless, they sexually tortured many German officials to get absurd confessions, and even staged a massive show trial which was notable because it declared openly that victors cannot be tried of war crimes (even when obviously guilty), but they executed many Germans who confessed under torture.
This quote says it all. According to him, the Americans randomly invaded Germany, killed people, bombed cities, committed war crimes, overthrew a democratic government, built concentration camps — and every German official's testimony post-war was just forced out through torture. Seriously?
If Luke were Hindu or into Slavic paganism, maybe this would make some cultural or religious sense. But in his case, it lacks that kind of context entirely.
